OUR STORY
Our founder Bernie Olanda established MPE Electrical Contracting in 1989. Prior to which he held a senior management position with one of Australia’s largest electrical contractors, where he was responsible for project/customer management at Ford Australia, Myer Melbourne, and Melbourne Central, as well as managing major service accounts.
During that time, he realised a need for a specialist contracting company with commercial acumen and family values to offer customers a truly personalised experience. This vision was the foundation of MPE Electrical Contracting. Bernie has also had the opportunity to foster the next generation of technologically advanced personnel.
MPE started with just one van, and its success has seen the team of three grow to a staff of over 45 dedicated team members now, with an expansion into the HVAC & interiors renovation sectors.
And the original single van? Well, it has made way for a modern fleet of vehicles that are housed at the head office and workshop, centrally located to offer a quick response via our 24-hour service department.
